  • What to look for when buying used GC2

I think I’ve found a great deal on a used GC2. It’s not hooked up now so i can’t see it operational. It’s a local pickup. Is there anything specific I can look at to see if everything is operational?

What do you mean it's not hooked up? It has a display so no need to be hooked up to anything. You can see if it can detect the ball in both LH and RH positions, turn the light on the LCD to see if that works and then hit some chips/putts to make sure it's reading the shot. Also, see if it's discoverable on your phone under bluetooth settings to make sure that's working. You may need to replace the flash at some point, that's a consumable item and can be purchased from other sources than foresight.

Hit balls. You can do something as simple as chip or putt in the living room.
