Hey everyone,
Long-time reader, first-time poster here. Hope you're all doing great. I've been pushing my golf game and I'm thrilled to say my ball speed is now around 190+, even closing in on 200 mph occasionally.
I'm about to settle into a house with a 300 square foot garage here in Sweden. So, I've got a fair bit of space to play with. I've been eyeing some launch monitors and could use some advice. I've been torn between Trackman and some camera-based systems. Considering potential future moves, I'm thinking a camera-based system might be more portable and flexible. Has anyone had experience with Foresight or Uneekor? Are they worth sticking with based on my profile?
A couple of things I'm pondering:
1. For those using Trackman - do reflective dots make a noticeable difference or is it just down to RCT balls?
I have my eyes on a unit for a very good price. Just need to check that it's not "too good a price" ie stolen.
2. I've been hearing about spin rates being problematic with high ball speeds. Have radar-based units like Trackman and Flightscope got better with this? I did chat with reps from both, and they seem confident, but I'd trust feedback from this community any day.
Lastly, living in Sweden comes with the not-so-fun 25% customs fee for many imported goods. So some units that are mostly found outside EU come with a hefty fee.
Thanks so much for any insights or suggestions. Cheers!
