  • How important is offset?

I have a narrower room and to hit driver I have to move my GC3 about 6 inches closer to the wall and 6 inches forward. I have looked on the forum and googled but have not found an answer. How much does moving my GC3 but not changing the offset effect my ball flight on the screen?
    Thanks in advance!

Any reason You just don’t make the Driver hitting position the default hitting position for all shots? Then you can properly set up the offset and be done with it.

An offset hitting position is fairly common.

Thanks for replying. My projector is centre mounted and there is a chance I could hit it with one of my shorter irons or wedges.

      Thanks!

It shouldn't affect your offset at all. Your GC3 has no idea you are offset. The offset is in the software and is in line with your hitting area direct to the screen. As long as you are parallel to the GC3 the readings will be as such.
