  • Impact screen with no enclosure

Those that made a frame (wood or other) for mounting your impact screen, how do you cover the gap between the edge of the screen (all 4 sides) to the walls/ceiling/floor? I want to have the area I'm hitting into look as open as it does now (hence no enclosure) and have the transition look as clean as possible.

Mine is just for aesthetic purposes, and i used a black marine carpet from a local HW store and wrapped my poles in strips of velcro and carpet just sticks to that.

I am still finishing up mine. I put 3/4 form padding that I had left over from the floor on the wooden frame to help deaden any balls that hit there (PL adhesive and zip ties) . When I ordered my screen I got it with velcro all the way around. The screen is 8.5 x 11.5, but the frame is 9 x 12.. I ordered up some black canvas, cut to width and then put the super sticky velcro on it (used and iron to). Then it was simply connect the canvas velco to the screen velcro. I wrapped the canvas around the wood and used velcro on to hold it in place.

I've got one of the side curtains up, I used 1/2 inch EMT to mount it to the wall and ceiling. I still have the upper net to install, but that is this week.

Santa is bringing a launch monitor (MLM2Pro) and a projector (BenQ TH671ST).
