Garage Sim - Range Only

Looking at a golf simulator but really only interested in using it for the range mode in my garage, for now.

Is the BLP best bang for your buck? If so, would an ipad work for the range or really need a gaming PC? Already have a net and mat so figured I would just have it connected to a TV on the wall to display range #s, ball flight etc.

If all you are going to use is the range, you should just get an OG skytrak. You can pick up a used one for well under $1k. Works with iPad too.
