  • Screen Advice, tightness

    Hey all

Was hoping someone might have some insight. I have set up my Carls screen (my own frame) where I have issues in on the bottom, the floor area. Originally I had attached it to the floor and it wasn't too bad but obviously not the right thing to do as it did not stay attached to the floor. I have now run a cable like the Carls package has but only on the floor as I have wall and ceiling brackets, I have used zipties to hold the screen to the cable I had originally had them tight to the cable and now redid them to be someone loose to help with the give at the bottom. The screen has some sag at the bottom now and I just cant seem to get it flat.
What I am thinking is snug up the bottom to the cable and pull it tighter from the top then tension the sides.
any insight on keeping the bottom down to remove any sag?

Hi, I do not have any tension attachments on the bottom. If you have it squared correctly and fairly taught starting at the top 2 corners and then work your way down the 2 sides the bottom should remain pretty flat. It needs that give, at least on mine and some others I have seen. I built my own though with a par 2 pro SQ screen that is fantastic. Post some pictures of what you have set up.
