Has anyone used the the 4' x 6' x 3/4" turf from USA Turf Pros(https://www.usaturfpros.com/product-p/usa304agolf.htm)? I am considering this for building a DIY stance mat due to the relatively inexpensive price ~$120 and due to the fact that it does not have any holes for the rubber tees. I would pair this with a 3/4" horse stall mat making the total thickness of 1.5". I will be going with a Bullseye 3D hitting strip which has a thickness of 1 3/8" so would have to shim just a bit.
Total price would be ~$160 with the horse stall mat.
I know that many people get a quality turf throughout the entire SIM and use 1" EVA tiles (which I do have), but I'm concerned about this wearing out where I stand. Would like to make the stance area (and hitting strip) both replaceable items at a relatively inexpensive price.
