  • Help Us Build a New Golf Analytics Tool (and get lifetime access)

    Hey everyone,

My name is Brian, and I'm one of the developers behind a new platform called GolfStatIQ. Like many of you, I'm a passionate golfer who loves digging into launch monitor data, but I've always felt the native software could go deeper in answering why we miss shots.

We're building GolfStatIQ to solve that. It's a smart analytics tool that uses your session data to identify your miss tendencies and provide a clear path to improvement with AI-powered coaching and a new metric we're developing called StrikeSigmaIQ™.

We're reaching out to this community first because we know this is where the most knowledgeable users are. To make sure our platform is perfectly accurate and compatible with the hardware you all use, we need to test it against real-world data.

This is where we're hoping you can help. We're looking for users of TrackMan, Bushnell Launch Pro, Mevo+, SkyTrak+, Rapsodo products, and Garmin Approach R10 who would be willing to share a few of their exported session files (CSV, Excel, etc.).

Our Commitment & What You Get:

Total Privacy: All data is anonymized and used for development only.

A Huge Thank You: Anyone who contributes files will get a free, lifetime premium account for GolfStatIQ when we launch. No strings attached.

You can securely upload your files on our contributor page here: www.golfstatiq.com/contribute

Thanks for reading this and for considering helping us out. My bio is on my profile if you'd like to know more about my background. We're excited to build something special for the community.

    Fairways and greens,
    Brian

Any interest in data from Foresight GCQuad?

Absolutely! I can't believe I left that off the list. Thank you for asking. The BLP and Foresight are so closely linked and similar data wise, I didn't specify it. Really, I am interested in any exports to ensure that they are mapping properly.

        Love this!

I have been in data (professionally) for almost 15 years and running. When I first started my SIM journey, data was a hyper focus of mine. My beef with the industry was that it wouldn't allow you to do "custom" analytic models, let alone extract full raw data files to process. Now that this a capability for most units, it's something I love to do (programming my own metrics) - but as you know, good models need TONS of data, and the cleaner the better.

I tried to gather as much as possible, and you would think having your own SIM and good golf crew coming over (thank lord the wife tolerated it) we would have a good amount - Still not enough!

Im happy to share extracts as well, and will throw you a PM with my LinkedIn. Would be awesome to connect! In my opinion, there is lots of opportunity left when marrying the SIM world and on-demand data/programming capabilities...but you gotto have the BLOOD (DATA!!)

          @smw0720

Thanks for the reply! It's great to connect with someone who truly gets it from a professional level.

You've hit the nail on the head. My "beef with the industry," as you perfectly put it, was the exact same thing. We have these incredible devices, but getting the raw data out to build our own models has been a challenge. And then figuring out how to learn from the data is another challenge. It's the whole reason I started this project.

And you're 100% right about the models needing TONS of data. We're trying to build something special, and you gotta have the BLOOD to make it work. Love that line.

Just got your PM and I'm really looking forward to connecting on LinkedIn. It would be awesome to pick the brain of someone with your experience as we move forward.

Thanks again for reaching out and for being willing to share. This is exactly the kind of collaboration I was hoping for when I started this.

          Regards,
          Brian

RealGolf - Thanks for the response. Yes, ProTee data would also be very useful and great to have. We would love to make sure it is fully integrated. I appreciate your consideration.

Big thanks to those who have already shared data. Running files through GolfStatIQ has been hugely helpful in shaping and validating what we're building.

Here’s a quick look at the kind of personalized coaching feedback contributors are receiving:
