Advice needed please

So I believe having a wider screen is better than higher.
option one I'd be able to have a screen about 9 ft tall, but it would only be about 7 ft 6 in wide as that's the width of my garage door rails

If I go with option two and mount the roller below the garage door rails I could go with about a 9-ft screen but it would only be about 7'6 high as it would have to stop at the bottom of my garage door rails

From a pure image perspective wider and shorter will get you closer to a 4 x 3 ratio. With that being said depending on where you are standing and the depth of your enclosure 7’6” height could present two issues. 1) If you are too far away wedges may completely miss the screen high. 2) your follow through may hit the top of an enclosure that is only 7’6” tall.

You could look at having your garage door rails raised to a high lift setup to gain additional height.
