i read somewhere on here that protee's ball speed is a direct measurement while the club speed is a calculation. i also have a voice caddie sc100 which is supposed to be a direct measurement of both. last night i tried using the sc100 together with the protee and the results were very weird. i expected the carry numbers to be off but the ball and club speeds to be close but after hitting for 30 minutes with my driver and only looking at the numbers for decent shots, the carry numbers were within 10 yards with the sc100 being slightly higher but the ball speed and club speed on the sc100 were consistently 10-15 mph lower than what protee reported. i know that the sc100 isn't going to be as accurate but i'm confused as to why the ball speeds aren't matching up. i was hoping someone here could tell me if the sc100 number make any sense.
here's one example :
sc100 protee
carry 252 245
ball 145 157
club 97 105
launch n/a 13 deg
the sc100 assumes a 9.5 degree driver. i use a TM R11S set to the lowest loft which is 7.5.
