  • Tiger hitting on a simulator

Can anyone tell what simulator Tiger is using in the video he posted today?

He's using a SwingCatalyst balance plate. That means he's either using Trackman or Flightscope.

Isn't he too close to the screen for either one of those? Maybe it is the camera angle but it seems like he is only <10 ft away from the screen. I thought you needed more space for those technologies?

For Trackman, all you need is 10 feet from ball to screen and 7 feet from Trackman to ball.

Believe its Full Swing simulators. I saw a press release a while back about their partnership.

I believe this. Looking at their website Jordan Spieth is advertising for them so seems reasonable.

He is obviously going to have access to the best simulator equipment out there. Pretty cool seeing him using one plus knowing he is on is way back. Always wondered how much pros actually use simulators now.

Why is this topic in the Skytrak section?
