Hey all,
I used to be a much better golfer when I had some time to play, but in recent years I've had relatively sparse access to the course. With the purchase of my SkyTrak and simulator room in my garage, I now have the ability to practice at home, but I want to make sure I practice efficiently, and without doing too much damage.
I aspired to be a PGA pro for a few years while I was younger, and studied under a pro during that time. I learned a lot about golf (mostly that I wasn't good enough to pass a PAT), and still consider myself a student of the game. I don't have a lot of time to visit a PGA pro these days even though I know that would be the best option.
Does anyone have any recommendations on some higher end equipment that can be used for swing analysis? My simulator space is limited, so having a camera in a front view will likely be difficult (at least to capture my whole body). If there is a wide angle option for that area, I'd be all ears. Otherwise, I think I'll need to a single camera behind me. I have the V1 software on my computer, and was using a webcam, but I found that setup clunky. I have a decent canon camera, but taking video and then loading the SD card onto my computer is also a bit of a process, and it seems odd to take several swings, load it, review, and then try to correct an area, review, etc.
I appreciate any input!
Thanks,
Dave
