Best tee or tee holder?

Hey guys,

Just curious what you all have found to be the best tee/tee holder for your mats. I have the CCE hitting strip, so there is a space for a rubber tee. It came with a couple of small rubber tees that can hold plastic tees, but they pop out every time I hit driver. I'm sure this has been addressed, but searching for "tee" or "tees" brings up a bajillion other things, so apologies for starting a repeat thread.

I use Protee system with "4 more yards" tees. They stay in the protee holder very well and rarely break.

I use the CCE supplied tee holders that sit about level with the top of the mat (actually a bit above). Into these I place "unbreakable" tees which usually last about 100 or more driver shots. These tees are thick enough to stay in the tee holder with little or any movement up. I buy the 4 inch tees and trim the bottom if I want a lower ball height. Since the tees go straight through to the underlying floor the tee height is exactly the same for every shot if you push the tee all the way into the tee holder while teeing up the ball.

For iron shots off a tee I usually just place the ball on the tee holder. This sets the ball at a perfect height for iron tee shots as on a par three hole.

Thanks guys, I like both ideas here. I think the 4 more yard tees would still come out of the rubber tee holder I have, but the unbreakable tees look thick enough that they would stay in, so I think I'll give those a shot. Appreciate the replies!

I use tee claw with tomahawk tees. It is amazing.

Hey Bama, can you describe how you use them both? I'm assuming you somehow connect them together? I picked up the Tee Claws, but I'm interested in the Tomahawks if you have some system figured out for using them simultaneously.

You can easily cut them to any height you want, and comes with 3 of them so should be able to cover all or most of you tee height needs. And they feel like they will never break, they are flexible to hits very well, yet also still feel very durable

The claw and tomahawk tee combo is a fantastic way of going about it. I personally just tied the tomahawk tees to a string and tied the other end to a small thin piece of metal that I could slide under my mat. This way only the tee and strings pop out from the front of the mat and was out of the way when not in use. Has worked nicely so far and less clutter on the mat with the claw holder things not having to be on there (plus just one less thing to buy....if you already have something to tie it to and slide under the mat I guess haha)

Haha this is exactly what I was thinking of doing....glad to hear it works! Thanks for chiming in, I think I'll go ahead and buy some of the tomohawk tees and see how that goes
