  • Suggestions for purchase?

I've decided that I want to get a simulator for the upcoming winter months to work on my game.

I've got a net return setup with mats in my basement, but not sure what else I need. I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times or more, but I'm new to the sim market place and unsure exactly what I need to get.

I'm leaning towards a GC2 because everyone says it's the most accurate.
Will probably add on the HTM, but I'll let you tell me if I need it or not.
Since I've got mats and a net already, I'm guessing I don't need that unless I wanted to setup an impact screen for a more realistic experience?
Software - sounds like TGC (whatever that is) is what I need to get.

Large screen TV - already have an extra one. Or would a projector and impact screen be better. I'm thinking I can always add the projector and impact screen at a later time.

While cost is not a factor, I certainly don't want to purchase anything that I won't use.

What I'm hoping to do is improve my swing and get better and more consistent impact on the golf ball. I would also use it to evaluate clubs and golf balls once I get the consistency that I'm after. Will probably take advantage of the simulated games also.

I appreciate any suggestions on options and vendors that I should consult with.

If cost is truly not a factor, I'd go through someone like Cory at Par2Pro (google them). They'll provide a much more turn-key installation/package.

You can save a ton of money building out the area yourself and doing the labor, but then you'll want to study up, a LOT, on people's sim builds on this website before you end up with what you want.
