Hey everyone, I have been lurking here for a couple weeks trying to get some ideas for a new build for my work. The owners just built a new building and they have a space designated as a gym and want me to fit a golf sim in there as well. We have settled on a few things. We will be using a SkyTrak system and building our own enclosure. One issue I am having trouble overcoming is how to protect one of the side walls from the shanks that are bound to happen. I was thinking about gymnasium wall padding, but it's crazy expensive. I also though about some thick acoustic padding, but might need to do some tests to see how it will hold up.
Has anyone found a good solution to this issue other than pulling it out from the side wall by ~18in?
We have started ordering everything and I will include pics as we start getting it built. The net will be rigged on a track so that it can collapse when not in use, and the hitting mat will be stored. Any help or advice that can be offered will be appreciated. I will try and get a picture of the layout uploaded.
Thanks
