How to clean a black marking?

my friend came and used his ball and apparently the ball was marked by a black marker.
while the damage isnt big, it did leave the screen some black marks.

i used tide stain remover and some non scented wipe but didnt seem to wipe them off. The photo was just taken after putting some water on it.

I have HQ screen. Any ideas?

Not sure if it will work on a screen, but to remove market from carpet you can wet the stain with rubbing alcohol and then set a paper towel on the saturated area, as the paper towel absorbs the rubbing alcohol it will pull the ink with it into the paper towel. It may be difficult to keep the alcohol from running on a verticals surface and/or may not work at all, but may be worth a try?

Same method but saturate the area with an appropriate solvent while vacuuming. Decrease a shopvac nozzle down to 1/4-1/2" diameter for maximum suction and suck it out from the stain side while gently massaging. It takes two people
