Help requested (please) on sim setup

I think i like Perfect golf better because I love the option for a touch screen.. it seems to work really really well with a touch screen. I expect that ill put said screen on a articulating mount so it can go wall flush when not in use and articulate in to the room a bit (near the hitter) when needed

So This is kind of what im thinking for my screen.... please realize i am not good at editing, but hopefully you get the idea.

In the picture below.. the red lines are rails like curtain rails. I plan to buy a archery netting... more because of sound than price and it seems to be a bit more easily folded etc.
on the far left side of the red rail is where it would bunch up.. I can put a curtain rod holder over there. Obviously around that bend ill have to do some curved pieces of curtain rail, but that shouldnt be too bad.

The piece will have to be custom cut so that when its pulled all the way out, it accounts for the notch (where the hvac runs in the ceiling there) on the right side and may top of that far right size that extends to the far right wall i will attach the gromets with bungies, or something to that wall. I want to try to eliminate as much of that as possible, but here, it may just be the best way.

Along the bottom I thought of something i havent seen done yet, so hopefully it works and maybe becomes something others do.
Have a loop in the fabric created so a rod can slip in side of it. I envision like a tent pole (that pops in to one another but can extend and has rubber inside to hold it firm) that can go across the floor area, and seat inside curtain rod holder brackets (like pictures near the left speaker) (obviously its enlarged to show texture). I think that would allow the top to bottom some tautness as well as maintain a bit of tug so the screen stays tight.

When im done playing, pull that rod out, collapse the poles, pull a couple bungies, and slide it over in to that corner..

AM i missing something here? or can this work? Im going to cross post this on the sim facebook page. btw.

PS. obviously those speakers would go away. ill have to find a new audio idea for up there, but thats no big deal.

bump.... hoping to get some input on this idea if possible. the wife is softening a bit after my insane ability to compromise on workout room, bean bag chairs, new book cases, etc

if this cant work, is there any precedent set for building a collapsible hitting screen?
Perhaps my best bet would be to replace my current screen (in the pic above) with a Hitting screen thats at least 6-8 inches from the wall. Then in front of the cabinets crafting a net system to protect the cabinets. Hell i dont know, im just spit balling here I feel like my dream is dying haha

Mmm, just brainstorming ...

Not sure if you’ll need some ‘tautness’ (i.e. tied / bungee’d at both sides) ...

Could you keep the curtain rail as you’ve shown, but have the width of the impact screen narrower to fill only the narrower width, then fix both sides with bungees to eyelets?

With regards to having a 16:9 movie screen as well as a golf impact screen (at 4:3) I’ve been playing with the idea of a pull down, or pull-up projector screen in front of the impact screen, so that the full width can be filled in either format. From my calculations the movie screen would only need to be a few inches in front of the impact screen if you had a 1.2x zoom ... or a floor mounted projector so you can move it back and forth.

oh for the love of all things holey... thats exactly what I want... EXACTLY. although i have a 10 ft ceiling, so it may be a little trick to mount.

So ive sent off an information request to this company... we will see what they say. I think i could float this past the wife.

However having watched 100 youtube videos on this thing, the side netting does NOT help against a shank. especially down towards the bottom... a bit concerning.
