Nothing works! Any advice? My build 0.1

My build.... not quite finished... check pic

After months of waiting, finally moved in to the new house today! The sim build?... might have one or two tiny details still to work out...

Seriously, though, I wish I didn't have to unpack etc... I can't wait to get this puppy off the ground!

Brave buying the projector before room / net / screen are up and knowing where your hitting from. I have the same projector and bought it after knowing all my measurements!
Any advice along the way just shout! Basically get your screen width / height and the image size to project and work from there, this will give you your projector location on the ceiling (height and distance from screen)...Optoma has NO zoom function so you have to be exact....you can make a DIY slider (angle iron or similar) gives you a manual ZOOM.

vrpunk thanks- appreciate the offer and may well hit you up for advice. I had so much time waiting to move in that I actually did a lot of calculations before I committed to the Optoma. That plus the fact that I purchased from Costco so I have three months for no-questions-asked return If it ends up being a bad choice for my space despite my efforts to plan.

As for manual zoom/slider, I found a product that has the exact slide distance to change from 4:3 to 16:9. I was also thinking of a DIY solution like you suggested… I can knock one out with angle iron, but if you happen to have a link to a step-by-step one pls let me know

The net looks a little low to me. And you might want to take the GC2 out of its box to get the best results
