  • Anyone had a shop/shed built for their setup?

Wondering what the costs may look like. Right now I have my net/mat and skytrak in the third slot of our garage but my wife wants to free up that space so she gave me the ok to look into this if the price would be right.

Im assuming we would want to put in a concrete foundation for this?

any input and knowledge is appreciated!

See my recent post on my build. Mine is 12’x20”. I have a couch in the back of the room and people can only sit on one side while hitting. If you don’t want a sitting area you could go with that size (it may actually be a little longer than 20’ though. I would also recommend making it a little wider so you can be more centered on the screen. Finally, make sure the ceiling is tall enough for everyone’s swing. 12’ is ideal to me but you may be able to get away with 11’ or even 10’.

Consider what hat may you have for ceiling height. The Country Club elite that I have probably sits 4” off the ground from the base.

What type of budget do you have? I built something about 300 square feet. Main structure interior dimensions are 15' wide by 16' long. Then a 5' x 10' wide popout at back for seating. 15' wide works fine for centered swinging for left and right but not enough room to hang monitors on the wall which is one reason for the popout. Building in Seattle is very expensive so these numbers may sound high. Concrete slab cost me about 7k. Building was another $35k or so but I built it better than my house in some respects. Those prices aren't including golf setup such as turf, screen, projector and computer.
