Protee putting mat

Hi there
im really new to all this but I went out on a limb and just purchased the protee system with putting mat,( just waiting on delivery at the momonet ) I think I’ve got my head around most of it but I’m off setting the hitting mat to roughy 12-16in right of center do I set the putting mat in a straight line of that or set it in the centre of the screen and putt from the side of the hitting mat,from things I’ve read it sounds like it don’t matter where the hitting mat is placed as the ball will set off from the center of the screen but not sure if that’s the case with putting

Hi there, I would put the putting sensor in line with the main sensor. If not the overhead lights won’t be in a straight row, the ribbon cable will be pulled at an angle, and if you offset your view when playing you will also offset during putting as well.
