Lowes Artificial Grass

Has anyone used this in stock turf from Lowes in their build? Just wondering is it's any good for chipping balls out of it, also what has everyone used as a pad/ matt uder artificial turf if any?

I am using Synlawn (which is what this is) for my whole room. I think it is great. I did my own install so the seems are not as good as they could be but it has been good for me. I actually have two lengths (rough like what you have pictured and green) and I use it as my mat as well. I think I can get away with this because I have carpet underneath.
