Retractable Screens, anyone use a retractable net instead?

Instead of trying to rig something up DIY! Which may or may not work, I would suggest a net return pro. I've had one for 3 years, great product made in USA U can leave set up, u need about 3' of space at back of garage to store it and probably still room for a car in garage. Also it has resale value if u decide to upgrade versus a DIY rig which most likely won't.

I actually was wondering if you could attach an archery net to the sports screen. Its pretty heavy though, so I don't know if it would be a good idea.

So I am looking to build a winter setup in my garage but not really interested in playing courses, rather use the range feature of the Skytrak instead.

Has anyone put a net on roller? Also, I see people have used the sportscreen and then did put an impact screen on it. I see Par2Pro is offering this now:

It's great they are now offering this combo, I've been using a sportscreen and impact screen for over a year. Anyone know how the attachment from sportscreen to impact screen works? While mine is functional it's not nearly as tight and smooth as what they show in their videos. I just put velcro on my impact screen and attached to the top velco on the sportscreen rolller. My guess is they have multiple velcro strips so the impact screen in nice and tight the whole way down.

I think they have clips with bungees mounted to the floor at the bottom corners to pull it tight. You can't do multiple velcro strips because when it rolls up, the screen and net travel slightly different distances due to the screen sitting on top of the net. When mine is rolled up, that ends up being around 4" difference.

I set up a U shaped curtain track in my garage and hung the net from the rollers. Need the garage I just run it out of the way on the tracks and put a bungee around it to bundle it against the wall. Works fine and takes about 2 minutes to get ready or get out of the way.

I actually moved on from the rollers on a track holding my net. I kept blowing wedge shots through the gaps at the top of the netting. Anything I did to block that happening made the net hard to retract. Eh, you live, you learn.

With my roll-up set-up I have also put bungees at the bottom and the middle of the screen using tarp clips. It takes 2 seconds to take the bungee's off when I put it away, screen is nice and tight as if i had it on angle iron.

I just changed my setup over the weekend and need to figure out how to tighten it up. I will look into adding the clips on the sides. I figured with the weight of the direct from mill screen, it wouldn't move but, but it does.
