I installed my new garage sim last night and noticed that in the skytrak app my carry distances were very accurate, but in TGC the ball seems to only go 75% of actual distance, directional ball flight seems pretty accurate. Is there a setting or feature i'm missing that will adjust this? I also noticed the LM had trouble picking up my driver swings? any tee placement tips? Any recommendations are welcome! Excited about the sim, but expected there would be a few bugs to work out...

Ive been told that TGC does run skytraks numbers through a different algorithm and perhaps may alter distances. Although in my case I have noticed they are fairly close. I must assume you are accounting for wind, elevation changes and of course hitting from rough -
I have noticed the opposite with TruGolf (I know you have TGC) on Skytrak. On the range in Skytrak my carry with driver is around 235-245. But in gameplay my carries get over 260. I think they take into account (more than they should IMO) elevation changes. I have the wind turned off as well. For example: I played a par 3 that was 10’ downhill at 145 yds. 145 is a stock 9 iron. No matter how soft I would hit it. My carry was 160 and over the green. The only reason I don’t get too frustrated is that I feel the ball flight is accurate. With chipping and putting I place the ball about 2” behind the red dot. Seems to help accuracy. It will take you a few rounds but you will figure out the bugs.Comment
