How far up do your curtains go, and how wide out?

I know the general "rule of thumb" is to go with ~10 feet from the hitting area to the screen. How far up do your side curtains come up? 9 feet? 8 feet?

Also, how far out to each side of the player are the curtains?

Finishing up my build, and need this information to determine how to complete the bay area. Thanks!!

Several considerations, are the side drapes for catching balls or creating better light conditions? Width of screen and golfing ability are also going to influence side drapes. If you are only hitting lefty or righty is also a condieration. If you have decent golfers I think most people overestimate the amount of side protection required. You will see photos of a lot of builds on here with no side protection.

I used a 6 foot wide piece of fabric on mine and I hit from about 11 feet from the screen. The fabric is great for lighting and there is no chance for a ball to miss that "box" that is created, but it is overkill. Nobody I have golfed with has needed that much side protection except 1 skied driver by my brother (hole in ceiling!). I think I could get by with 3 feet no problem. 9' x 9' screen on mine. With a wider screen, probably wouldn't need any protection.
