I'd be interested to hear peoples thoughts on the following,
I'm looking to open up a void we have under the house to build a Cinema/Golf SIM room, until we open it up i don't know the exact dimension, but the room should be roughly 11'-14' wide and 25' long, the room infront of the void is the garage, this has a ceiling height of approx 8'.
Rather than lower the entire floor of the new room which would no doubt involve a reasonable level of foundation work, i was thinking of lowering the tee box 2' and having a slope from the tee box to the impact screen, a few calculations show i'd need a launch angle of below 10 degrees before the slope would cause any issues with shots, and then it should only bounce of the slope towards the screen.
Can you see any potential problems with this or have you tried this yourself?
