Small Golf Simulator Build

I've been thinking about building a golf sim for a few years, but never really had the space or time, The original plan had been to build a basement golf sim under the rear of our house (UK 3 storey front, 2 rear) but having explored the sealed off area we have, there really is no advantage to spending £0000's knocking through and making suitable for a golf sim when the ceiling height was likely only 8', we originally planned to dig down and lower the floor, but considering we've found out there's already a concrete floor laid in there with drainage etc, it really didn't seem worthwhile overall.

So without giving up on the idea completely and having no room for an outdoor build of any kind, i've taken over part of the garage.
It's not a big space and is only suitable for 40" or shorter clubs to be swung with comfort by me (Others may struggle at that length) but as i was looking for something to help me brush up on my medium/short game (160 yards and in) there will be plenty of room.

I've bought most of the equipment and started the build in the last week or 2, hopefully the screen will arrive in the next few days and i will be hitting balls by the weekend.
The spec i've gone for is as follows:

Skytrak Launch Monitor
40mm Artificial Turf (Just instead of carpet) This turned out to be longer than ordered so i decided to return the true up the walls (Higher on side than the other for clearance reasons)
Golfbays 2.5x2.5x1.3 Enclosure in Kit form (The steel required for this cost less than £100 cut to size and delivered)
Fiberbuilt S4 Tee Mat
BenQ W1210ST Projector (I believe this is the same/similar to the BenQ HT2150ST, just an EU version)

Wall to Wall 2600mm
Floor to Ceiling 2550mm
Screen to Tee 2100mm
Screen to Garage Door over 5000mm

If anyone can tell me why they're on their sides it will help, every other way i view then they've fine, its just how they're uploaded to this site!

Still waiting for the screen to arrive, so completed a couple of jobs, fist of which was to fix the memory foam, i screwed 2 4"x1" pieces of wood to the breeze block (one top and one bottom) then folded the memory foam over and screwed through another length of wood.
The result is the memory foam is then sandwiched between the lengths of wood.

Also run in an extra power socket for the projector and moved an existing socket for clearance and access.

Just need the screen to arrive and set up the Skytrak now!

If anyone can tell me why the pictures are sideways it would be helpful, even if i rotate them before i upload them, they still upload sideways!

I dont know why the pics are sideways, so cant help there.

I have also converted my garage with a skytrak build. I had to take out one of the beams above and to the left of me when i swing as the beams were 8 ft high and i couldn't swing,

How are you insulating/keeping it warm during the winter?

as the garage i have has beams going across the ceiling i have used cardboard boxes and lined them with radiator silver foil (the stuff you put behind your radiators in the house) and then laid them on the rafters to cut off the ceiling. I have also used that silver foil on the garage door then i have been heating it with a 3KW blow heater on a thermostat set to 12 deg. All was good until i got the latest electric reading and my bill has raised another £125 per month. I went straight out to the garage and turned the heating off. Now my side and ceiling impact curtains are getting damp due to the cold and im worried mould will set in.

My garage is integral to the house and seems to be relatively warm compared with outdoors through the winter, it's never damp or cold either. Although if i feel it was to be too cold i would use an electric heater, but i don't think it will be required. I suppose that is an advantage to having the integral garage with it's insulated walls and plastered ceiling.

Despite my ceiling being relatively low, so far i've hit everything without a glitch from 2 rescue/hybrid down, not tried the 3 wood or driver yet, but i think both would be an issue, so for now i'll leave them in the bag.

thats lucky, my garage and house has a lane through it so it is seperate. But because its a rented property i cant really do much with it.
