  • My garage 3rd stall build

Here is my garage build. The enclosed hitting area is in a 10x10x10 netted cage from dwquailgolf. I bought blackout curtains for the outside of netting. I use a short throw Optoma 1080P projector on the floor. I had to remove the garage door opener to allow for swinging a club.

Well done. We have very similar setups as far as width 10 feet and screen dimensions 9W x 8 H. I see you are using a gaming laptop. I do as well, but regret my decision. Unfortunately I was not well informed prior to my purchase. I use asus FSX504 with GTX 1050 and have to dial back the graphics to run TGC 2019 without significant delay or choppiness. What laptop are you using? What is the graphics card? and can you max out the graphics without any negative effects on performance?

Nice work! We are pretty similar. Screen size is the same. I am using a n HP Omen Gaming laptop with Intel core I7 8GB Ram and GTX 1050 4GB video card and have no issues with delays or having to dial back any of the graphics.

Really nice build! I wish I had a third garage stall so I could have a permanent set up, or taller ceilings in my basement. Golf simulator room was not on my list of requirements for the house I have. Maybe it's time to move!

Im in the basement 7ft 11in. If I move I will go straight to the basement in potential houses with a tape measure.
New house requirements 9-10ft ceilings and high speed internet!

I can only swing a wedge in my basement without hitting the ceiling. I doubt we will move anytime soon but I'd do the same when it comes to a basement. Looked into lowering the floor in the basement but way too expensive.

What are the dimensions? Is your garage 10 ft wide ? If so, can you swing a driver in there ?

Thanks for posting your setup. I’m in the data gathering process and my space is limited. I too will floor mount my projector and your setup and screen size was very helpful.
