  • Anybody have an Allsportsystems screen?

I am looking into getting the last couple pieces to complete my golf simulator. Does anybody have an allsportsystems screen? I am looking to get the microbay with the HD screen. If anyone has one of these screens can you tell me how you like it? Also any pictures will help. Thanks!

    I have one, custom size of ~12.5ft x ~8.5ft

I am going to split my review in two, 1. the screen, 2. the enclosure.

    1. The screen itself is really nice, high quality and holding up really well.. I have played on average 18 holes a day on it for the past 5 months, along with have friends over on occasional weekends to beat on it too and it is not showing any signs of wear. One piece of advice is to ensure you clean your clubs and use new golf balls with it so dirt doesn't transfer to the screen, also old balls tend to fray and can cause damage to the screen. The latter hasn't happened to me yet but it's just a watch out.

    2. The enclosure - I haven't been that happy with it. I had visions of my screen looking like the screens at the PGA Tour superstores, hangs perfectly nice and tight with no wrinkles or waves. This was far from what I have been able to achieve with it. It is nice that allsportssystem will customize the size for you and they were super great with that.

Assembly is not the easiest, for one person, it probably takes 2-3 hours to assemble once you have done it once, the first time will take longer as you have to cut the EMT poles which are purchased separately.

My biggest complaint has been with how the screen hangs within the enclosure, I can never get it to hang right with good tension and no waves or wrinkles throughout it. It always seems to have big waves or wrinkles in it, and almost impossible to get tight. The system they use to attach the screen on the sides is a turn-buckle wire tension kit instead of EMT poles so when you zip tie the screen to the wire, the wire pulls in towards the screen which then the screen isn't tight and shows the waves and wrinkles. I have since replaced the wire tension kit with EMT poles and have used the ball bungees to fasten the screen to the EMT poles. In order to do this I had to purchase additional EMT connector pieces from a 3rd party store. This helped make the screen tighter, but now, I have a gap of 1-2 inches between the bottom of the screen and the floor and there are still wrinkles in some parts of the screen.

For the price, it's a good option but for $300-$500 more you can probably get a much better enclosure. I also went with it as I wasn't 100% confident what room I wanted to put it in, and I thought I might want to move it around.

To sum it up, the screen is great, it's loud but my guess is they all are, but the enclosure and how the screen hangs isn't the best. I want to talk to Par2Pro at some point to see what their enclosures look like as I feel there screens may hang cleaner than mine.

Thank you for the thorough feedback I greatly appreciate it. Which enclosure do you have from them? Also do you happen to have a picture? I might steer more toward a carls premium 5' enclosure now...

Also, have you seen any other enclosures you would recommend instead?

Beautiful set up. I like the trey ceiling! Is that the GCQuad? I see what you are saying with the screen, I wonder if others have the same problem with that system.

Thank you..yes I had to do some ceiling modifications to get a little more swing height as it was just under 9ft before I added 6 inches in the cut out area. That is a Quad.. it's a great LM. I think part of the issue is you have to cut the EMT poles to exact dimensions and I am probably +/- 0.25 inch on my cuts but still shouldn't make that much of a difference. When I called and asked them for tips they said it's just a lot of trial error with the zip ties... which means a lot of cutting and replacing.. need to buy extra bags of them from the hardware store.. I have probably gone through 300-400 zip ties easily with the number of times I have taken it down and adjusted things. It's a good starter bay.. but I will eventually look for something a little more polished looking.. with that said I think the screen has amazing durability to it.

Did you also get the hitting mat from allsportsytems? If so, do you know what brand it is?

BSCampbell The hitting mat is country club elite , purchased 2 of them through Costco.. I have since purchased a 1x3ft Fiberbuilt insert and cut it in as the CCE mat was too punishing.. .If I were to do it over again I would purchase the bigger CCE mat (4x7) from somewhere else so I don't have the small unevenness between them.

I purchased mine in 2018 and at the time they called it the Superbay with upgrade HD Screen. I’ve played probably close to 1,000 rounds on it and it’s still in great shape except for a few dirty spots. My only issue is
