Need a small mat

Need some advice, I bought the below hitting mat as am on a budget (and cannot afford a £300+ mat), however after hitting of this for a while, the rubber underneath had literally disappeared due to the thickness. I have it in the garage on concrete floor, however did put down Eva foam tiles, but even then it's still being hammered

What I would like to do is get a small insert with better base, and cut away in my mat now, however what do I get that will last. I'm in the UK, so would like it to be from here

Could consider a fiberbuilt flight deck. Might need to raise the rest of the mat but it will last a very long time and be easy on the joints.
