Space behind Impact Screen

Hello,

Started my build with the help of this forum and greatly appreciate the knowledge passed down! I have framed in a space with slotted iron that leaves me roughly 8 inches behind the screen to wall. I am planning on using baffling netting behind the screen as well, but curious to see if anyone has worked with minimal space behind their screen in a similar setup. Additionally, what is the best option for attaching screen to the slotted iron, ball bungees or industrial zip ties? Dimensions of frame are 12'10" x 11" and Carl's impact screen 12'6" x 9'6".

Mini bungee cords. Zip ties will snap. I have 16 inches and behind my impact screen have archery net. 16 is plenty. Unsure the amount of give is needed when ball hit screen. I would be surprised it would be more than 8 inches.

Pretty certain I recall someone on here having only 8" behind the screen, but I can't remember what was all behind the screen.

I have a 14' x 10' Carl's premium and I am 12" from the back wall. I used their spacing rule for distance on the hanging to frame and used ball bungees. Although my Sim is not completed yet, I have never been close to hitting the back wall while hitting balls. The ball bungees also hang the screen very nicely. I would be concerned on two fronts. One, what would the corners of the slotted iron do to the bungees after time (you can always monitor the wear) and two, over tightening the zip ties where you would get too much bounce back from the screen.
