  • Simulator/Man Cave Build

I have finally finished my labor of love. Thought I would show my work and answer any questions.

I would like to thank everyone on this great forum. Truly one of the best communities I have come across.

My room dimensions are 24' x 15' with a 15' x 12' putting and stance area. I am using Fiberbuilt 3x1 insert surrounded by turf I found on sale at Menards. My screen is an SQ-RAW from Par2Pro with a 3 inch memory foam mattress behind. My launch monitor is a GC2, but might look at ceiling mounted in the next few years. Projector is a Optoma GT1080 Darbee.

Attached to this room is a double car garage. Both have in floor heating.

Feel free to toss any questions.

    Cheers!

    Brock

I did. Used rtacabinetstore.com for cabinets. Built a half wall and bought some cheap countertops at Menards. The accent wall is some ripped 1/4" pine with different stains. The accent wall has a hidden door on the right side to hide PC and other electronics.

This looks great! How tall on your ceilings? How far away did you put mat and projector? Starting to spec out a build of my own.

Projector is about 8' away. ProjectorCentral.com gave me the distance. I put my mat center around 7.5' from screen. Ceilings are 10'. Could not go lower as I have some tall friends.
