Hey all! I can see the finish line on this nearly year long piecing together of a sim area. Just got a GC2 and am waiting on a good PC deal. Anyway...these are pics of my in progress garage sim. The space used for sim is 16' x 21' with 10'3" ceiling and a 16x9 screen. I've strung wire rope up and started to hang the curtains as seen in pics. Have painted the ceiling black and my plan was to use all black curtains to create four "walls" for a cleaner look. Now I'm considering using black for the first 12' from screen and then using a lighter color for the back 9'. My worry was that all black would make the enclosure feel tight while a lighter color would make the room feel more open? Or since the ceiling is now pained black just stick with all black curtains? I have fake grass and vinyl hardwood for the floor...tarp there to cover screen while ceiling was painted. Thoughts?
