Have had the question a few times lately: Just wrote this to another member (Can't say what it would "feel like to have a wall at 14'6" but I suspect it's cramped"):
"My screen is 1'6" from the back wall. I can take a full swing with a driver at 6'6" [from the screen] without hitting the screen. We put up a barricade (my buddy held a piece of plywood) at 14'6" from the back wall and located the ball 7' from the screen and I could still swing (with about an inch to spare) [I am 6'2" tall]."
YMMV--
What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

If the enclosure is 6' deep you have to be at least 5' away from the enclosure...so a total of 11' from the screen. Remember when you swing driver you will hit the top of the 6' enclosure if you are too close. So if you're screen is 9' tall then you will have issues with lob and possibly sand wedge missing the impact screen.
