    Installing a putting cup

    Hi all,

I've been wanting to install one or more putting cups in my build but as I just installed TFD Putting Elite turf over 1" dricore for my base I don't have the depth to drop in a traditional putting cup which are usually 4 or 6". I saw birdieball has some cups that are 1/2" but that's too shallow. Anyone come up with solutions for a similar situation? I thought about just cutting down a 4" cup, but the base of it might still be too thick. Any advice?

I bought these and put in my sims room, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Golf-Practi...4AAOSwzixc3NSV

But then I help a friend setup his and we just cut 4" PVC pipe to length on his putting area.

Thanks, those are cheap enough that I can buy a few and experiment with chopping them down to size a little bit.

I bought the 4 inch cups and cut some off both ends
and a little off flag pin bottom works fine used vibrating saw
