    GCHawk build

Pretty pumped with how everything turned out. Couple minor things to finish up but have really been enjoying it. Foresight has been pretty good to work with.

Thanks. The turf area is almost 13ft wide (14ft wall to wall) and 20ft deep. Ceiling is 9’11ā€.

awesome! Is there any offset? These are almost the exact dimension of the shed I am building. Are you willing to post what you used (screen size, projector, how far away from screen, netting, etc.)?

Thank you. The screen is from Foresight. It is a custom size to fit the space I had. Roughly 12.5’w by 10’h. The center of the CCE mats are 11’ from the screen. Projector is a Panasonic VZ580. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck with the build.

Can I ask if you are happy with the Panasonic? Were there any others that were a close 2nd from a choice perspective?

Can both left and right hand players got from center or is there a bit of offset (dead space between the hitting area)?

You could live with that couldn't you thunder? I thought it was a foot.

Yeah it would be close. I have center strip of fiberbuilt. Couple inches wouldn't be a big deal.

Still not sure I could justify the extra cost. 2 gc2s be cheaper if interface would work. Not would not be able to hit from center

Beautiful install. Did you do it yourself?

Also, let us all know your experiences with the GCHawk. It is such new technology that I'm sure we are all curious about the performance!

Thank you. Did some myself but left some of the heavy lifting to the pros. The house is a new build so all the wiring and electronics were done by a local A/V
company. Foresight was very helpful with direction on how to hook put it all together. Couple late evenings and too many drinks with friends and we knowcked it out. Performance of the GCHawk has been awesome as far as I’m concerned.

When you say 20 feet, assuming that is 20' from screen wall to the back wall where the bar starts and therefore not including the bar area, right?

Correct. It's actually 19' from the screen to where the bar starts. There is roughly a foot of dead space behind the screen.

                    Shep12,

I can't find an answer to this, so since you have one installed:

Does the GCHawk now measure club data, like the Quad does? When I was looking into the Hawk a year ago, Foresight said it was only ball data. Has the Club Data been solved? Foresights website is not very clear on this issue.

                    Thanks and really nice build.

Thanks. Yes it does measure club data. It is an add on that must be purchased though.
