New Build...questions abound

Just started a new build in our storage. This frame set up is the 10x5 Carl's kit.
First, these instructions aren't great. Any guidance on how to use the ball bungees to the black tarp/frame and ALSO how does the screen attach to the frame? In front or behind the frame?
Second, will be standing 5-6' in front of the cage. Obviously we SHOULDN'T shank balls off the front poles but let's be honest, it is possible. Any suggestions on padding the poles to lower the danger risk?

The bungees are really easy to use. Just put the loop though the grommet, around the pole, and then back over the ball end. The tension keeps it secure. The screen attaches the same way, it's not really behind or in front of the frame, it's suspended from the frame. Make sure the velcro flap is on the inside, however, to cover the poles. If you are still struggling to visualize it I can take some close up pics of my set up.

I wouldn't worry the front poles, many hitters through my carls enclosure, hasn't happened yet. For the top rear bar, get a cheap memory foam mattress from amazon, cut 4 inch wide strips and just put them in the pocket created behind the velcro. No need to attach to the pole. Settled on this after trying different pool noodles, pipe wrap etc, works good, at least one other has tried it here, worked for them as well.
