With an 11’ ceiling height, how far behind the hitting location can I mount a projector on the ceiling? Based on the throw calculator I’d need to be 6’6” behind the hitting location to fill my screen and I’m worried I’ll get a shadow..... thx in advance!

If that is your throw calculations, you may want to consider a short throw projector. However, depending on your set up, you may be able to mount it at 11' and use your vertical tilt/shift to keep most of your shadow off of the screen. Each projector has a different throw and the best way to know for sure (assuming you already have this projector) is to get on a ladder and turn it on with someone swinging a club.
