Does anyone stand outside of and hit into a shorter enclosure? If I put it under my garage door it would have to be like 7 foot, but I was thinking I could stand a bit outside of it and hit into it. I am wracking my brain trying to figure out the best orientation and set up for a permanent fixture in a third bay garage. I could do about 13 feet of length of I set up a cage parallel to the wall of the house but would have to slide it around a bit to get my wife's car into the garage. If I hit out towards the garage door 7 foot is the max height for it to fit under the rails. If I hit towards the house I'll have the garage door opener and rails behind/above me. I'm thinking the best option would be standing outside a shorter enclosure?

It will cost money, but others have looked into raising the rails of their garage door as well as the opener, but it does come at a cost.
for me (I am not set up in my garage), my enclosure comes out around four feet and I tee off from about 8 feet from that point. Another thing to do is search for garage set ups and see what people have done to build fold up set ups such that everything is out of the way when not in use.
