I'm very new to the simulator world, and planning to build something in my small finished garage. My garage is ~11' W x ~16' L w/ ~9' H ceilings. At this point I'd mostly like to have a mat and screen setup to hit balls, with the intention of adding a skytrak, computer and projector down the road. The only thing I've purchased so far is a 6'x4' fibrebuilt mat as I got a great deal used.
Linked here are my dimensions I've mapped out, and my plan for the screen.
- lefty hitting offset, 88" from the wall on the right
- 88" from the screen
- 12" from the screen to the front wall
- 69" to my workbench bench at the back
Screen plan:
- 96" angel iron on both sides
- rope wire across the top
- screen size would be nearly entire 108" by 131" available
I can't figure out where I could put a projector eventually. Anything else I'm overlooking before I proceed and start to get too deep??
