Sim build in Norway

Hi!
I'm planning to build a simulator in my barn. The plan is to build a room inside the barn. I have no particular restrictions regarding the room, but I am planning a 4,5x6x3,5 meter room.
I have looked at different systems, ProTee, GC2 and Mevo+

GC2 with software will unfortunatly break my budget. ProTee is still an option
MEVO+ looks very interesting. Although I have read that there might be an issue with carry distance om TGC 2019 (the software I would like). Does anyone have an opinion on that?

Feel free to comment on pros and cons on the different systems.

Have you looked at the used market for GC2 or even their certified pre owned product which might bring down the cost. Or perhaps even look at Uneekor? Not trying to rule out radar, which I use and love, but just ensure you have considered all options before making your final decision.

I have contacted Foresight and recived a good offer for a pre-owned, but the Fx2018 software is almost 3000 €.

Have a look at some of the used software that I thought might be available on this forum. Ask others who don’t use FS software what they do.

At least in the US, if you buy a pre owned unit you don’t have to buy FSX. You can get TGC2019 for about $1k here. I would think it would be close to that in Norway. It works well and is a much better value. As far as a carry distance issue, most people who complain it is short either don’t know how far they it the ball or have trouble making a full speed swing because they are indoors. The majority of those people come back a month or two later and conclude that the GC2 was in fact accurate all along. If anything, foresight has issues showing inflated carry numbers on high launch low spin drives.

TGC2019 is around the same in Norway. I know that people using it on the GC2, but I've read somewhere that it does not support GC2?

It does support it, just not via Foresight themselves... just tell them you know your numbers and just need to see them on the screen - so no software required. Buy TGC 2019 from Protee and you’re away. Guides on this forum walk through getting it connected via Bluetooth.

They already offered me it without any software. It could use a free app they said. I just need to look at the £ vs NOK. The coronavirus makes the deal worse every day. I would have saved almost 1k if I had bought it in July

Wow... have you considered ProTee? Used ProTee (best after 2017 with new cameras), with TGC2019 is the direction I took... No annual fees and play TGC2019 tons of courses...

ProTee is still on, I have talked to them. The offers are quite similar, but with GC2 being portable, I might pay the extra

If you need portability Garmin, and Rapsodo both have a $500 launch monitor... I would not be comfortable moving around a GC2, at that expense.
