  • Ran out of time before quarantine...

No sim.... no computer... three months of work and just ran out of time!

Had to remove a closet, drywall and lay down new carpet... all DIY and then the screen, projector, wall protectant and removable window panel (ran out of protectant for the window panel on the left).

Such a small frustration in comparison to what ppl are dealing with but it's like a constant tease... I find myself walking downstairs and just staring like a fat kid through a bakery window looking at an eclair that costs $2 and I only have $1.95

Fear of layoffs preventing me from ordering sim and computer... at least I have my health!!

Great looking room! It is frustrating I am sure to know it is there and you can’t play. Especially when we are all in lock up.

yes this current situation does cause a lot of uncertainty. What launch monitor were you leaning towards?

Looks great, I am in a similar situation, partial completion and some questions around collecting the last few necessities. What did you use to cover the walls and ceilings?

Thank you! 5/8 inch black carpet squares... it looks really sharp and you can only slightly tell if you are really close up... took a lot of DIY work tho cause you have to do alot of cutting of the squares.

I love my GC2 and HMT. For me, the only drawback for a GC2 is that it doesn’t accommodate simultaneous play of both right-handed and left-handed players easily. But I don’t have any left-handed golf buddy to worry about.

slowy1233 so your comment and would likely go down the path you are most comfortable and at know you would not be disappointed with the way you are leaning. I would suggest testing first, but appreciate that is hard to do at the moment.

slowy1233, how did you attach the carpet tiles to the ceiling? adhesive? is there a way to do it without completely damaging the drywall?
