I was thinking of using 2 inch foamular to raise my floor and insert a piece of Quattro hitting mat as an insert level with the surrounding hitting area. Or combing foamular with 1/4 inch plywood ( foamular on bottom with plywood on top).
Right now, I have the Quattro mat on top of putting turf and the hitting mat moves after a few hits and it is causing the surrounding putting turf to wrinkle. I am hoping an insert will eliminate the wrinkle in the turf because the mat will not be pulling/pushing the existing putting turf it sits on.
Anyone have similar problems with wrinkles? And do wrinkles go away with insert? Has anyone tried foamular or other ridged insulation board beneath the turf?
