Hi all, so I'm deciding between two setup options:
1) The first would be to build a full sim indoors with a Homecourse Pro Retractable screen and Skytrak. It would be in a space that would allow me to hit all my irons but no woods or driver.
2) The second option would be an outdoor setup in my yard using a net such as the Net Return Home series with a Skytrak connected to an ipad on the side. This would provide me enough space to swing any club in the bag. It would also be much cheaper and easy to take down and put up if I want. The biggest drawbacks would be that it's outdoors and would not have projection ability.
I'm torn between the two choices because the first one would obviously be a much more luxurious experience with the full on-screen projection and being able to hit indoors. However, it would also be much more expensive and my biggest concern is if I'm going to regret spending that much money to build a sim that feels a little cramped for space and I can't even hit all my clubs in.
Obviously this is a personal choice, but if you guys were in my shoes, what would you opt for? I should also mention that I live in the bay area in California, so while weather is still a consideration, it's not like the outdoor setup would be rendered useless for months of the year.
Hope to hear some thoughts. Thanks in advance!
