Guess I need some more netting

Father in law visiting to try the new simulator: why are you wasting good balls on a simulator?

Me: I want to get accurate numbers, and besides, you actually get more use out of them since they can’t be lost. Two months on the same sleeve so far...

Father in law (7 holes into his first round): um, sorry, I guess you’re going to need another sleeve...

Wow! I’m pretty sure if I put a hole in someone’s ceiling I would immediately put down my clubs and stop playing. But to do it three times is crazy! On the bright side, patching it before texture and paint is relatively easy

Curious how high are your ceilings and how far back is your hitting area? Where those wedges or just really bad "oops'es"?

The loft on those shots is impressive that is several feet in front of your enclosure that is supposed to catch those sky balls.

My space dicatates that I can only have the screen surround come out a metre from the screen - worried about exactly what you are showing (but doing it myself).
I plan to put a net from the top of the enclosure pinned up to the roof.

No wedges — all drivers. First time I suggested lower tees, but he was sure it was a fluke. After the second time I insisted on lower tees and that he use my old driver. I have no idea how he got under the third one enough to do it again but that was the last non-iron he hit.

ceiling is about 12 feet high, enclosure is 9’6” and hitting from about 10’ away.

and yeah just a garage ceiling so should be easily to patch.

That’s just the cameras angle. All 3 holes are pretty much right over the enclosure.

A friend of mine did the same exact thing the first time he played on my sim. (and last I might add. Ha). Hit three drivers under the ball a and put holes in my ceiling. I finally cut a wooden tee lower so he wouldn’t swing under the ball.
