I have the luxury of being able to build a shed to accommodate a golf simulator and whatever else I want to use it for. I'm tentatively planning on a 24X26 shed with 12' ceilings....I've attached my very preliminary sketch and I'd love to get any input, thoughts, considerations, etc. Construction likely late this summer and then I'll do the inside work myself through the fall.

This looks awesome. A lot of us will be jealous if you have a room that large! My only comments would be the two items to the left and right of the hitting area. If your "sim space" is 16' wide, then someone sitting in the chair to the left of the hitting mat will be pretty close when a right hander is swinging. And if you are going to get a system that allows for both right and left hand play, you may want to move the computer / screen setup (assuming that is the brown item). Like the chair on the other side... although they would probably be safe, there is a thing called "indoor swing syndrome" and if you have items which it "feels" like you can hit - even if the tallest guy cannot swing that wide, it can mess with people's swings. Just nice if you have a clear 7.5' - 8' either side of the centre line. For some it's not possible / practical, but if you have this much space.... just my $0.02Comment

No problem. When I built mine I knew it was for GC2 and so I put my computer and screen where you have yours laid out. I ran all the cabling in walls etc. And then after a while I realized that if I ever switch to a system with left and right handed play I’d have a load of fixes to do. Always good to think about future proofing! Good luck with the build. Looks like it’ll be fun
