    Sim Shop

So I’ve been lurking and reading for about 6 weeks now. I decided to build a-game improvement/simulator/hitting area. Didn’t really know what I wanted to do at first. But the more I read the more I realized that I wanted to be able to play golf courses and get better at the same time. So I’ve decided on a simulator. Not sure which one yet but leaning towards the GC2. Not sure about software for it though??? Any way I’ve begun the process of building my sim shop! I’ve built the frame for the screen/net. And last night I put together the 10x12 fiberbuilt combo hitting/putting mat only to find out at the very end of the build that the company I bought it from didn’t send the putting mat with my order. Needless to say I was super disappointed. I was planning on buying more stuff from them like launch monitor, software, computer, projector, and so on. Not now though!!! Anyway here are some pics of what I’ve got so far. Any feedback or constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks to everyone on the forum for there inspiration in my sim build!!! Thx Phipps!

Very nice. Enjoy. Many software options for GC2. Consider TGC2019.

It looks great. Your almost there. Lots of places you can source Sim components. Keep us posted as the build progresses.

Who ever you bought it from it might not be them. I ordered directly from fiberbuilt and they sent me 4x4 instead of what I ordered which was 4x6.

Wow, I know a lot of Trackman owners who would love to have that space! Look great! Gc2 is a great choice and you have some good options available to you in terms of software options!

            Good luck and enjoy!

Looks like great space. I''m sure you'll do this as you move along but you'll defintely want to protect that sidewall (aluminum siding) from shanks... Even though you may never do it, eventually you will have someone come over that will!!! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Good luck.

Thx Mikemcd22! I’ve got a plan for that but haven’t finalized anything yet. Was going to hang a black curtain down the side. Maybe some acoustic tiles also. Thx for the feedback!!!
