Started garage extension

work started today on my garage build, builder hopes to be finished on Friday so hoping mevo arrives as scheduled this week.

I am Alex, raising the roof to 3.2m, the width to 3m although I was hoping to go a bit wider, but the good lady objected to stealing more of her path to the patio and the length will be 5.4m.

House was was built in 1902 and think garage was same lol. Very tight inside and I probably have more space in the house but that’s was a no no.

Hopefully all be worth it in the end.

Quick update all going well builder finished tomorrow.

Getting the floor vinyl screened on Monday then can start putting screen etc up.

Just have extension built on my house internal space will be 3.5m wide by 5.7m long. Do you guys expect o have room for others in your sim at the same time?

Yeah be room for 3 bodies at the back of the garage, also have ordered some bar stools as they take up less room. That will keep them out of the way if their sitting down. Worst case scenario I can open the double doors and have unlimited space, as long as it’s dry.

How far you hitting from screen and how far is screen from wall?

Hitting from around 9ft and screen will be 8in from back wall, apparently screen has very low bounce back and no backstop needed but I have heavy curtains and memory foam just in case.

Anymore updates to the sim today Toad?

Hi alex,
we ran out of cladding and none in stock till Tuesday, just my luck.
Got the inside insulated and all wiring in place, hope to have it sheeted tomorrow and get the electrics etc finished.

Floor gets screeding done on Monday or Tuesday then once dry I will get the sub floor finished. That then leaves the screen etc to be done during the week

Mevo+ was delayed a week and now confirmed as being with MIA on Friday, so hope to have it all in place start of the following week. i really can’t wait for it to arrive, I started planning this two weeks into lockdown so feels like I’ve been waiting forever.
