I apologize in advance if some of these questions have been answered before, but there is so much info on here, and I feel like some of you really know what you are talking about. I wanted to put a sim in my house, but my wife has relegated my dreams to the back yard. I am building from scratch and haven’t had the chance to use any of these. Here is my set up, and here is what is important to me.

I am pouring a large concrete pad in the backyard, running power underneath it and dropping in a prefab “garage” (see rendering attached). The garage will be 14x24 with two garage doors to open it up when its nice out and a door. It will have an open loft to give room to swing. So I am dealing with a blank canvas here. Note that occasional backyard flooding could occur. I’m hoping to raise the pad enough I want to be a backyard mancave type thing with room to hang out on one side.

I am 10 handicap and looking to be able to practice some and be able to play rounds with my friends while enjoying a cold one away from the wives. Here are my priorities in order of importance:
-Overall realism and feel of the software
-Accuracy of the data and true feel of the hitting area
    -Cleanliness of the set up

I was leaning toward getting a “sim-in-a-box” with a GCQuad until I read this forum, now I am really considering the Uneekor and protee system and it looks like I could save some money (maybe to use for pro install). I love the Trackman new software but its very expensive, and I am starting to doubt its accuracy in a smaller area.

I would really like to see your recommendations and educated opinions.

What's the ceiling height on that? And what's your overall budget? Sounds like a fun project.

3on3, great question. I thought that it was a sloping roof from 8-12 feet, but it was 7-11ft. I have now changed to a model that will have 10ft around the entire hitting area.

As for budget, I will spend what it takes, but was hoping to stay under 25k for everything (not including shed and concrete slab).
