Hey There - I am looking to possibly purchase a SuperBay setup second hand but I want to reduce the width (12ft -> 11ft) and the depth (5ft -> 3ft). Seems like I could just cut down the EMT and wrap the screen or cut it and use tarp clips. Is there something I am missing on why this would be a bad route or not possible?

I was thinking the same thing. I own the Allsports, but went with an 8' deep bay and realize I don't need it nearly that deep as it closes off the room too much. Was going to cut the bay at the 3' seem and then try and wrap it or hot glue the velcro back in place. Did you do it? How did it turn out? pictures?

I did end up doing this and it has worked out pretty well. I have just kinda folded over the extras so far, but I have plans to have my wife cut it down and sew it to the new dimensions. I cut a 12x9x5 down to a 10’3”x9x3. I basically didn’t use the extender and the 1’9” poles and then cut down the depth poles by 2 feet. I put the net on correctly on one side and folded the extra depth back in on itself and zip tied it together and then on the other end just wrapped it over even more and it was too much to fold back inwards, so i actually just rolled it up like they instruct you to do with any extra netting on the bottom and zip tied it to the pole. I did the same thing to for the overhead and size valence which is all one piece but I haven’t connected the back panel yet.
My plan is to have my wife cut out extra from the middle of the top/side valence and sew it back together so I can keep the two pre-fabricated corners and then do the same thing to the back side of it to cut it down 24” and replace the Velcro strip. I will do the same to the back panel, removing extra material in the center and sew it back together to cut it down 1’9”.
Here is a pic of my setup completed, up close or from a distance you can’t really tell it all extra wrapped around.
