Thanks Mitchynew - nice ideas with mounting the screen directly to the walls with the wire, I'm going to do that myself. I'm also planning on an Archery Screen, instead of impact screen, did you use that first, and then decide you needed an impact screen? Was there some reason for that? I've seen Phil's info and I think I prefer Archery Screen by itself, as it reduced the noise to almost ZERO when the ball hits it, I can't stand the extra 'woompf', every time the impact screen gets hit!
Do you have a link to those Side Curtains you purchased? I would like to consider those as well, as I am not planning on a cage at all, and I have limited width 11' 6" , before I build out my walls, so probably going to be 11'2" after the wallboard is up!
You did a great job with that height, I was lucky to find a new house about 1 year ago, with a shed already built, as soon as I'm done with my work, I will have a 10' ceiling, so plenty of room for driver and all the other clubs in my bag... I've been holding off and explored all the options that you mention, over the last 4-5 years, before finally getting to the point with the shed. My wife heard Golf Simulators at a local Sim Shop and said: 'thats not going in our house', so I had to put it outside.
Thanks for the tips... let me know a link to those side curtains, I think they will do the trick perfectly for me as well... how far do they extend back from the wall? Also, how far exactly is your Archery Screen from the back wall? And how far is your impact screen from the back wall?

Thanks for the comments. I wanted to try an actual impact screen to see the difference in picture quality for myself. However I must say that although the picture quality is probably slightly better, it isn’t really worth the extra expense particularly if you only have a standard quality projector and only mainly using the SkyTrak range and other features! Plus I agree with you 100% on the sound, I have had complaints from the mrs about it being very loud now I have the impact screen set up compared to when it was only the archery screen! If I was playing TGC 2019 every week with a 4K projector then I would be able to justify the impact screen. However with my current set up I think the archery screen would be absolutely fantastic particularly if sound is an issue.

my archery screen is about 18 inches away from the back wall. I read that between 12-18 inches is a safe distance so I just wanted to be on the safe side. Plus having 2 impact screens up gives it extra protection.
